Tucker Carlson Claims US Could Decide on Nuclear Strike on Iran by 7 November

Carlson claims Netanyahu is pushing Trump toward a nuclear strike on Iran.

Tucker Carlson, a former Fox News host, claimed on X that Washington may soon strike Iran with nuclear weapons. The alleged target is Pickaxe Mountain, a fortified site in central Iran. He said President Trump could decide by 7 November. Carlson argued that about 300 feet of granite protects the site, leaving a nuclear strike as the only military option.

He alleged that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is pressing Trump daily for military action. Carlson linked this pressure to Netanyahu’s effort to secure a 61-seat Knesset majority after Israel’s recent elections. He warned that fallout could contaminate the Gulf and endanger drinking water for about 100 million people. Carlson has offered no verifiable evidence, and neither the US nor the Israeli government has confirmed any such plan.

Trump has said the US could neutralise Iran’s remaining nuclear sites quickly, but he ruled out nuclear weapons in October. A White House official said all options remain open but declined to discuss military plans. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said no decision has been made on new strikes. Tehran denies any nuclear activity at the site. Vice President JD Vance and envoy Steve Witkoff are reportedly urging diplomacy instead.

The claim arrives when a US-Iran framework is being discussed through Qatari and Pakistani mediation. Any nuclear use would end that diplomatic track and endanger shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. Pakistan borders Iran and has invested in this mediation, so its security, energy, and diplomatic interests are directly exposed. This strengthens Islamabad’s case for restraint and negotiated settlement.
